My work bursts with exuberant colour and texture, created in acrylic on board. This piece is part of an extensive body of work that grew from a year-long artist residency at a flower farm in Camp Mountain.
Through drawing, painting, and photography on location, I recorded the rhythm of the farm — preparing, planting, nurturing, harvesting, resting, and replenishing — while exploring its unique sense of place.
I come from a family of keen gardeners, and documenting the farm connected me to people and places far beyond it, deepening my own sense of kinship and belonging.
