Service Description

Term One 2024 : 1 February - 22 March Term One is an 8 week term due to 26th January and Easter. The term rate has been adjusted to $240. Casual arte remains at $40 per class Students with any level of ability or experience are welcome. I encourage the majority of students to start at the beginning then I make sure you don't miss anything. My teaching style is to tell you everything I know to help you achieve the best possible outcome. I believe in giving you the benefit of my experience and making sure you learn in an organised and methodical way. Each class builds on the one before. I give you bite-sized chunks of information so that you learn, process and practice then move forward with confidence. Learning how to draw and paint isn't easy but with the right tuition, you can absolutely learn how. You will gain confidence as you learn and your skills improve. Classes are friendly and supportive. Many art classes start with the declaration" YOU MUST LEARN TO SEE BEFORE YOU CAN DRAW" . The difference with my classes is I actually tell you how do that, opening up your eyes so thast you can experience the world in a new and exciting creativelky visual way. Back to basics drawing and painting: learn how to draw and paint from the beginning with open, honest and authentic tuition. Covering the elements and principles of art and design, step by step in bite-sized pieces. Build your skills to develop your own style and find your unique best creative practice Extension drawing and painting. : improving and growing your skills and confidence Beyond Drawing and Painting: surface, substrate and the joy of paint. Specialist techniques:printmaking, encaustic, surface design, image release, mixed media) Your class fee includes all materials Purchase as a term for $240 / 8 weeks or casually for $40 per class You can pay the casual rate of $40 per class and come on any day which suits your schedule. You can now pay for a casual class online, look for the Casual Class in the Adult Art Class collection. You can start at any time during the term and the term rate will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. Gift Certificates available

Cancellation Policy

Classes must be paid for in advance. You only get the term rate if you pay for all of the classes up front. Term rate is 10 classes @ $300 You can start part way through a term, the term rate will be calculated pro rata If you pay by the class the rate is $40 per class (casual rate) All fees include materials If you cannot make a class and have chosen the term rate you can make the class up but only in that term. If you know you will be away during the term you can decide which rate will work best for you. Either term rate or casual rate. You cannot terminate the term rate , once it’s paid you cannot get a refund if you decide not to come. If you would like to trial a class you pay the casual rate. If you then decide you would like to sign up for the term that casual class will be converted into the full term payment. If the class is cancelled by me due to ill health, family emergency etc. then I will give a credit
