How It Works
If you decide to purchase art or commission art it will be carefully wrapped and boxed
Art within the greater Brisbane area can be delivered on request.
Shipping is included in the price of any work being shipped within Australia. It will be sent by Australia Post if it is under 100cm squared
If you are overseas, I will give you an estimate of shipping costs which will need to be paid before a piece is sent.
If you would like to have a piece sent by courier I can arrange it with the best price in mind, as shipping rates can vary

The Small Print
Art
Our return policy at helenjevansart allows you to return an artwork within 7 days of purchase if you change your mind. Please keep in mind that commissioned art cannot be returned, as it is unique and personal to you. If you have any questions about our return policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Commissioned art cannot be returned as it is personal to you.
Art Classes
Term time classes
Classes must be paid for in advance.
You only get the term rate if you pay for all of the classes up front. Term rate is 10 classes @ $300
You can start part way through a term, the term rate will be calculated pro rata if we are less than 4 weeks into a full term.
If you pay by the class the rate, it is $40 per class (casual rate)
Fees include materials within reason. If you wish to work with specialist materials then please provide them.
If you cannot make a class and have chosen the term rate you can make the class up but only in that term. Carry overs into other terms make things too complicated.
If you know you will be away you can decide which rate will work bet for you. Either term rate or casual rate.
You cannot terminate the term rate , once it’s paid you cannot get a refund if you decide not to come.
You can trial at the casual rate. If you then decide you would like to sign up for the term that casual class will be converted into the full term payment.
If the class is cancelled by me due to ill health, family emergency etc. then I will give you a free makeup class. If there is an act of God (flood, fire) I will not refund.
Workshops
I run workshops trhoughout the year. if you cannot make a workshop please let me know 48 hours in advance. Workshops require a consdierable amount of prep plus the purchase of extra materials. If you cancel less than 48 hours before a class I will offer a credit. before 48 hours I will offer a refund.

All of the artwork created by helenjevansart is original and produced with quality materials. I take great care to ensure the longevity of my pieces so that they can be enjoyed for a lifetime. As a purchaser of one of my original paintings, it is important that you understand the value of owning an original piece of art. You must not reproduce or alter the artwork in any way and be assured that the piece has not been commercially reproduced by me either, unless discussed. At helenjevansart, we value the importance of copyright. As the artist, I retain ownership of all my work, including pieces that are sold. This means that although you may own the physical piece, you may not reproduce or copy it without my permission. By respecting the copyright of my work, you are not only supporting my artistry, but also ensuring that the integrity of the piece remains intact.
A certificate of authenticity can be supplied on reqest.
