Frequently Asked Questions – Original Art
Thinking of adding one of my artworks to your collection? Here are some answers to common questions to help you choose with confidence.
What makes original art special?
An original artwork is a one-of-a-kind creation; there’s only one in the world. When you buy original art, you’re collecting something truly unique that holds the energy, story, and hand of the artist.
What medium do you use?
I work mainly with acrylic paint on board. My paintings are richly layered, colourful, and textured, often inspired by gardens, landscapes, and the natural world around my home in Brisbane.
How do I know what size the artwork is?
Each artwork listing includes exact dimensions. I recommend measuring your wall space before purchasing to be sure of the fit.
Are the colours shown online accurate?
I photograph and edit my work carefully to represent colours as closely as possible. That said, screens can vary, so slight differences may occur.
Is the artwork ready to hang?
Yes. Most works on board come with hanging hardware attached so they’re ready to go straight onto your wall.
Do you accept commissions?
Yes! If you’d like a piece created especially for you, I offer commissioned artworks. You can find more details on my Commissions page.
How do you package the artwork?
Your painting will be carefully wrapped with acid-free paper, bubble wrap, and sturdy packaging to ensure it arrives safely.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, and all works are fully insured during transit.
Can I view a piece in person before buying?
If you’re local to Brisbane, I can often arrange a studio visit by appointment. Please get in touch to discuss.
What if the artwork arrives damaged?
In the rare event of damage, please contact me straight away with photos. I’ll work with you to arrange a solution.
Do you accept returns?
As a small independent artist, I don’t typically accept returns on original art, but if you have concerns, please reach out—we’ll find the best way forward.
